Fractional radiofrequency with microneedling
Fractional radiofrequency with microneedling is a technique that ensures a significant improvement in the texture of the skin by combining thermal and electromagnetic energies.
This procedure can be applied to the face, neck, lap, hands and arms.
This treatment is indicated in the fight against skin irregularities, acne scars, wrinkles, sagging and expression lines.
How does it work?
This technique uses thermal and electromagnetic energies with the application of gold microneedles. The thermal energy facilitates the smooth penetration of the microneedle, which reaches the deep dermis without bleeding and virtually without pain. The electromagnetic current intensifies the effect of radiofrequency, creating micro lesions in the dermis, stimulating the natural healing process. Thus, there is an intensified production of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin.
This technique causes some redness and warmth in the treated areas, which disappear after 3 to 4 days. During these days it is advisable to use sunscreen with color or a fond of teint (liquid or powdered basis).
The technique does not create great discomfort and its main advantage is in rapid recovery.
The benefits of treatment are long-lasting, since the regenerative process is progressive and gradual. Thus, the results tend to improve and enlarge over the months following the treatment session.
How many sessions are required?
The number of sessions varies and depends on each case and may vary between 4 or more sessions. Maintenance should be performed every six months.
This procedure should not be performed in the following situations: skin diseases, coagulation problems and malignant tumors; During chemotherapy treatments; Infectocontagious diseases, endocrine diseases (diabetes, Cushing’s syndrome, thyroid imbalances), history of deep thrombosis; In the use of medications such as anticoagulants and corticosteroids; Metal prostheses, pacemaker; Skin areas that have fill material, tattoos and permanent makeup.
