Botox / Botulinum Toxin

Botox (or Botulinum Toxin) is an excellent treatment to prevent facial aging, being used to treat expression lines and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). When performed properly, Botox provides excellent results. This procedure relaxes expression lines, preventing wrinkles such as frown lines or crow’s feet, which plays an important role in aesthetic improvement. People often comment that the patient looks well, rested, and has a fresher appearance.

Post-Botox Care

There are some standard recommendations after Botox treatment:
  • Avoid sun exposure.
  • Do not lie down for 4 hours.
  • Avoid physical activity on the day of the procedure.
  • Do not massage the treated area.
  • Avoid applying makeup for 12 hours.

Is there any problem using Botox and hyaluronic acid fillers together?

There is no problem at all. In fact, this combination is often recommended. Botox can prolong the effects of hyaluronic acid, as reduced muscle activity lowers the risk of filler migration or premature absorption. Together, they are two excellent options for facial rejuvenation.
