Pressotherapy
Pressotherapy is based on a mechanical compression system designed to improve blood and lymphatic circulation, promote body detoxification and provide relaxation.
MAIN INDICATIONS
This treatment is indicated in cases of fluid retention, cellulite, swelling of the lower limbs, muscular discomfort and the sensation of heaviness and fatigue.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
During this procedure, inflatable garments are placed around the areas to be treated (feet, legs, abdomen and arms). These garments are filled with air, with the airflow increasing and decreasing in a controlled manner, promoting venous and lymphatic flow and improving tissue oxygenation.
SIDE EFFECTS
There are no known side effects.
EFFECTIVENESS
The effects usually appear after the 2nd or 3rd session.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE REQUIRED?
It is recommended to perform this treatment 1 to 2 times per week, depending on the condition being treated. Each session lasts about 40 minutes.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
This treatment is contraindicated in the following situations: heart disease, phlebitis, blood pressure disorders, kidney or dermatological conditions, and infections.
