Electrostimulation
Electrostimulation is a non-invasive treatment used to shape the silhouette, strengthen, and tone muscle fibers. The treatment is painless and uses electrodes on the skin to deliver artificial impulses to the muscles.
MAIN INDICATIONS
Electrostimulation is indicated to tone muscle fibers, treat flaccidity, improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and eliminate toxins. It helps reduce localized fat and shape the body.
HOW IT WORKS
Electrostimulation is performed by applying electrodes on the skin, generating impulses in the muscle fibers that cause contraction and subsequent toning. Muscle contraction also promotes energy consumption, burns localized fat, and reduces cellulite.
SIDE EFFECTS
After the session, there may be redness in the areas where electrodes were applied and slight muscle soreness in the stimulated areas.
EFFICACY
This treatment can stimulate dozens of muscles in a short time, equivalent to approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of conventional training. With 2 weekly sessions, noticeable results can be seen after one month.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE REQUIRED?
It is recommended to perform about 6 to 10 sessions, 2 to 3 times per week. Each session lasts approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Electrostimulation is contraindicated in patients with heart disease, phlebitis, pacemaker, circulatory disorders, blood pressure changes, kidney or skin conditions, infections, metallic implants, epilepsy, or varicose/dilated veins.
