Pressotherapy is based on a mechanical compression system designed to improve blood and lymphatic circulation, promote detoxification of the body, and provide relaxation.

MAIN INDICATIONS

This treatment is indicated for cases of fluid retention, cellulite, swelling of the lower limbs, muscle discomfort, and sensations of heaviness and fatigue.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

In this procedure, “sleeves” are placed around the areas to be treated (feet, legs, abdomen, and arms) that are inflated with air. The airflow is controlled to increase and decrease, promoting venous and lymphatic flow and oxygenation of the tissues.

SIDE EFFECTS

There are no side effects associated with this treatment.

EFFICACY

The effects typically occur after the second or third session.

HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE REQUIRED?

This treatment is recommended to be done 1 to 2 times a week, depending on the condition being treated. Each session lasts about 40 minutes.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

This treatment is contraindicated in the following situations: heart diseases, phlebitis, changes in blood pressure, renal and dermatological alterations, and infections.
