Dental Implants

What is a Dental Implant?

A dental implant is a small cylindrical piece made of titanium designed to replace the root of a natural tooth.

The implant can be placed in the upper or lower jaw and will eventually fuse with the bone, serving as support for a fixed prosthesis (crown = a tooth-like object applied to the implant).

Dental implants can be used to replace one or several teeth simultaneously.

IMMEDIATE IMPLANTS

At Clínica Luso Espanhola, we have the option to place a tooth (crown) or a complete prosthesis (a structure with multiple teeth). Depending on the viability of the cases, immediate placement of the crown or provisional prosthesis may be possible on the same day as the implants are placed.

This function allows for the rehabilitation of one or all teeth in a single day, always aiming to restore the function and aesthetics of our patients.

We utilize the most advanced and minimally invasive techniques in implantology for the placement of dental implants. Each case is studied and developed individually, with the goal of achieving a treatment that is safe, quick, effective, functional, and aesthetic.

For patients who are afraid of pain, we offer the option to use the operating room with general anesthesia or sedation to ensure a comfortable and calm treatment experience.
